The Age of Bullying Part 2 of 2
Bullies come from families which will either increase or decrease the behavior. Wise educators understand that without home support, little progress will be made to enable students to relate in non-coercive ways with each other. Another issue that will be considered is the bully-parent and what schools should do to require that they interact with members of the community in a civil, reasonable and just way.
Philip Hills is serving his third year as the ACSI Western Canada Regional Director. Mr. Hills was previously the principal at MEI Chilliwack, a position which he has held for twelve years—the first six years with Valley Christian School and the last six with MEI Chilliwack. During this time he also served as the associate pastor of Mountainview Evangelical Free Church in Chilliwack. He has recently completed graduate studies in the MAL program at TWU and has served two terms on the ACSI Western Canada Council. He and his wife, Karen, have four children.
